Within SVC, three PhD courses have been held:
- "Hydrology for Hydropower Purposes" was held in September 2010 at KTH. Responsible for the course: Professor Anders Wörman, River Engineering, KTH
- "Tribology and machine elements", Responsible for the course, Roland Larsson, LTU
- "Rock and earth fill dam engineering", Responsible for the course: Tommy Edeskär, LTU and Fredrik Johansson. KTH
